ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - The editor of Croatian Television's (HTV) news programme, Mirjana Rakic, on Monday refuted claims by the president of the Croatian Democratic Union party (HDZ), Ivo Sanader, who told a news conference that the
national television would cease covering press conferences of opposition parties. "The HTV has introduced no special criteria for covering opposition parties, and equal criteria will apply to all parties," Rakic said. She added that the HTV would concentrate on covering events rather than news conferences which are not classified as events and which mainly focus on issues the HTV had already covered.
