BOSNIA DRAWS UP DUAL CITIZENSHIP AGREEMENT WITH CROATIA

SARAJEVO, Nov 2 (Hina) - A draft agreement on dual citizenship between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as drawn up by the Bosnian Council of Ministers earlier this week envisages revoking the dual voting right but vouches full legal security to all bearers of the two countries' passports. The Council of Ministers discussed the draft agreement on Wednesday and decided to forward it to the state presidency for final approval, the presidency said on Friday. The contents of the agreement has not been disclosed. The Council of Ministers has only said it would allow dual citizenship. Quoting unidentified sources in the state leadership, Banja Luka's Nezavisne Novine daily said today the new agreement would revoke the dual voting right. It is expected Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon enable its citizens to be granted Yugoslav citizenship, under similar conditions, as well, which has been requested by the Bosnian Serb entity.
