ZAGREB, Oct 29 (Hina) - Economic cooperation between Hungary and Croatia, after the signing of a free trade agreement, is on the rise. Apart from a classic trade model, the cooperation is expanding to the field of investments and
partnership, Tibor Suelt, the Zagreb-based Hungarian trade office manager, said at a press conference, held on the occasion of a meeting of Hungarian and Croatian businessmen on Monday. Influenced by the free trade agreement, Croatia's foreign trade has increased. In the first eight months, Hungary's export to Croatia amounted to US$143.9 million or 23 percent more than in the same time in 2000. Croatia has exported goods worth US$39.1 million to Hungary, or nine percent more than in 2000. (hina) np sb
