ZAGREB, Oct 16 (Hina) - Croatia's Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic on Tuesday said CEFTA member countries' economy ministers had decided at the end of the last week to start negotiations with Croatia on its bid to enter the Central
European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA).

In the first seven months of this year, Croatia's trade with CEFTA
members totalled 1.15 billion dollars.
Croatia's export to those countries fell by 6.4 percent to $320
million as against the first seven months of 2000, whereas import
climbed by 25.8 percent to 836 million dollars.
The CEFTA member-states are the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary,
Slovenia, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania.
