LJUBLJANA, Oct 24 (Hina) - If the agreement on the Krsko nuclear power plant is not ratified by the 15th of next month, electricity envisaged for Croatia's electric supply company HEP will most probably have to be directed towards
Slovene consumers, a state secretary for energy supply in the Slovene government, Robert Golob, told Slovene Radio on Wednesday. Preparations for the implementation of the agreement stipulating the joint management of Krsko by Croatian and Slovene electric industries can begin only after the document is ratified. Until then the power plant will function under Slovenia's regulations, he said. Slovene media have reported that Slovene Environment and Zoning Minister Janez Kopac relayed the same message to Croatia's Economy Minister Goranko Fizulic.(hina) lml sb
