ZAGREB, Oct 19 (Hina) - The Croatian Journalists' Association (HND) on Friday harshly decried the conduct of members of the Croatian Disabled War Veterans' Association HVIDRA, who prevented reporters from exiting the hall where the
organisation had held a news conference on Thursday. We most harshly condemn the behaviour of HVIDRA members who in an utterly unacceptable manner prevented reporters from doing their job professionally, the HND said in statement issued Friday. The society said the incident was the first hostage crisis for reporters who were trapped on HVIDRA's premises, if only for about ten minutes. If such cases of reporters' work being obstructed reoccur, the journalists' association will recommend that its members boycott such violent organisations calling news conferences. The HND requested that HVIDRA, as the organiser of Saturday's protest rally in downtown Zagreb, ensure that all reporters are guaranteed
