SARAJEVO, Oct 18 (Hina) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Foreign Ministry has forwarded a note of protest to the Saudi Arabia Embassy in the country over the disparaging of Bosnian Croats. A statement released in Sarajevo on Thursday reads
the Foreign Ministry has acted on a conclusion of the Council of Ministers in reaction to the publication of a brochure on the occasion of the opening of a mosque in Bugojno. The building of the mosque was financed by a senior Saudi committee under the auspices of the Saudi royal house. The Bugojno mosque was opened on Sept. 14. Those in attendance were given a brochure reading that Bugojno "is one of few towns in BH in which there are almost no Croats." The Bosnian Council of Ministers assessed the contentious text had disturbed not only Bugojno's Croats but the entire Bosnian Croat people, as well as every well-intentioned citizen.(hina) ha sb
