ZAGREB, Sept 19 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic and the United States Ambassador to Croatia, Lawrence Rossin, signed an agreement Wednesday, under which the U.S. government donated approximately 1.5 million
dollars to aid the judiciary and police reforms in Croatia. The signing of this letter of intent represents just one in a long line of joint initiatives supporting the Croatian government's worthy efforts in the judiciary and police reforms, Rossin told the press. Granic pointed out there was no time to delay the reforms, adding the US government's assistance would speed up the process.
