Twenty-six vaults contain the bodies of Vukovar's Serb Croat residents who sided with ex-Yugoslavia's federal army, the JNA, in the aggression on the town. Thirteen tombstones were pulled down in June. According to a police spokesman, the tombstones have not been damaged, only pulled out of the ground. An investigation is in course.(hina) ha
