According to the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, foreign holiday-makers made up 286,000 arrivals (21-percent increase), whereas Croatians registered about 12,000 arrivals (some 8 percent increase). Foreign guests accounted for a majority of overnight stays. Their overnight stays rose by nine percent to 400,000.
