VIENNA, Sept 6 (Hina) - The Permanent Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) decided on Thursday to expand its mission in Macedonia from 26 to 51 members. The decision, which takes effect
immediately, had been postponed for two weeks, the reason being financial difficulties, according to diplomatic sources. Eventually the Council reached a compromise to finance the mission from saved budgetary funds and voluntary contributions, which sets a precedent in the financing of OSCE missions.
