ZAGREB, Aug 31 (Hina) - The "Croatian Antiglobalists" coalition objects to the administrative demarcation of the border with Slovenia in northern Croatia's Medjimurje region, claiming the border there will be a straight line which
does not follow the natural flow of the Drava and Mura rivers. In time, such a border could bring into question the rivers' protection and endanger the whole ecological system in the area, the coalition warned at a press conference on Friday. In two weeks' time "Croatian Antiglobalists" will joint their Slovene ecology colleagues in launching a campaign against such a demarcation of the state border and for the protection of the two rivers. They will forward an open letter to all Croatian and Slovene MPs.(hina) ha sb
