PRISTINA, Aug 10 (Hina) - The Kosovo human rights committee on Friday asked the international community to take a more active role in integration of minorities to Kosovo society and so stop the more frequent attacks on their members
in Kosovo. The committee protested against the further detention of those suspected of a bomb attack in Merdari, where 11 people of Serb nationality died and many were injured. The committee asserted that there was no evidence to prove their guilt. The people suspected of attacking the bus with Serb civilians were found not guilty by a decision of an international judge, but are still kept in custody on the basis of the executive order of the UN administrator Hans Haekkerup, it added.(hina) np ms
