ZAGREB, Aug 17 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Friday that he believed "people in the IDS (Istrian Democratic Assembly) would finds arguments for returning (to the Government)." "There will be time for talks,"
Racan said after a meeting with Istria County Prefect Ivan Jakovcic in Fazana and before his departure for the Brijuni islands, where he attended a premiere of Shakespeare's "King Lear". Commenting on Parliament Speaker Zlatko Tomcic's statement that the IDS could return to the Government only if it gave up the Istria County Statute, Racan said "people in the IDS are beginning to realise that some things in the Statute of Istria can be adjusted." "One should discuss everything in peace, without ultimatums and there is plenty of time to do that," Racan said. (hina) rml
