ZAGREB, Aug 11 (Hina) - The revenue of the Croatian National Bank (HNB) was by 356 million kuna larger than expenditure last year. This amount was higher by 83.8 percent than expected. Under th law on the central bank, this surplus
should be appropriated into the state budget. The income of the Croatian central bank rose by seven (7) percent to 1.494 billion kuna in 2000 in comparison to what was planned for last year. Its expenditure fell by 5.4 percent as against the expected spending to a total of 1.137 billion kuna.(hina) ms
