ZAGREB, Aug 1 (Hina) - In July, the national air carrier Croatia Airlines transported 160,000 passengers, a record figure in the company's history and a 12-percent increase as against July 2000, Croatia Airlines said on Wednesday.
This July, the company flew 2,056 commercial flights, six percent more than July last year, including 1,729 regular flights, another increase, of nine percent. Last month's last week, 23rd to 29th, and the last weekend, 27th to 29th, also broke records, with almost 38,000 passengers transported that week and 20,500 that weekend. On July 28 alone, Croatia Airlines transported 7,600 passengers, with a 92.4-percent punctuality rate. In this year's first seven months, the national air carrier transported 704,000 passengers, which is 20 percent more than at the same time last year.
