Representatives of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia reaffirmed their commitment to the further development of the inland navigation and water management.
They were acquainted with an amended strategy for the implementation of the framework agreement and the action plan for 2011-2015. The implementation of these documents will contribute to the efficient implementation of the European Union's strategy for the Danube region for 2014-2020.
They also considered possibilities for the beginning of the renewal of navigation along the Sava River and using the Sava basin's potential for nautical tourism.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2013.
The framework agreement was signed in 2002 and went into force in 2004.
