The accession conference will be held by main negotiators.
With the closing of that policy area No. 13, Croatia will have four chapters left to close: Chapter 23 - Judiciary and Fundamental Rights, Chapter 8 - Competition Policy, Chapter 33 - Finance and Budgetary Provisions, and Chapter 35 - Other Issues.
The European Commission is expected to draw up common negotiating positions on those negotiating areas in the coming period and to submit them to the Council of the European Union by mid-June.
Thus, Croatia may conclude the negotiations by this summer recess.
