CAKOVEC, July 24 (Hina) - Residents of the northern Croatian region of Medjimurje are not satisfied with the Croatian-Slovene border agreement, Medjimurje prefect Branko Levacic said after Tuesday's meeting in the government building,
at which Prime Minister Ivica Racan presented details of the recently initialled agreement to prefects and representatives of seven Croatian counties bordering with Slovenia. Levacic told Hina Croatia gave Slovenia more valuable land on the bank of the Mura river than the land it got in line with the agreement. Good news is that joint Croatian-Slovene international border crossing will be built near the bridge on the left bank of the Mura river, Levacic said.(hina) it sb
