ZAGREB, July 10 (Hina) - Health workers with secondary and two-year post-secondary school qualifications holding particularly difficult jobs, in intensive care and radiology for instance, will have a 10 or 20 percent salary raise,
according to a decree adopted by government on Tuesday. The government adopted the decree to acknowledge the justified requests and provide a special evaluation of the work done by nurses, Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said. The decree is an interim document until work agreements either ratify or regulate the matter even better, he added. Cuts in health workers' salaries have recently spurred a series of public protests against the government.(hina) ha sb
