ZAGREB, July 9 (Hina) - Retail prices in Croatia in June dropped by 0.3 percent in relation to the month before, while living costs dropped by 0.4 percent, the State Bureau of Statistic said in a statement Monday. In the first half of
this year, retail prices increased by 6.4 percent in relation to the same period the year before, while the increase in the first five months amounted to 6.8 percent. Retail prices in June increased by 4.9 percent in relation to June 2000 and 2.4 percent in relation to last year's December. Living costs in June increased by 5.8 percent in relation to the same month the year before, while a total increase in the fist half of the year 2001 amounts to 6.2 percent in relation to the same period the year before.
