LJUBLJANA, July 5 (Hina) - Agreements with Croatia on the Krsko nuclear power plant and on the cross-border traffic and cooperation should be ratified by the Slovene parliament and not government, which has been authorised to ratify
bilateral treaties since recently when a new law on foreign affairs was passed, a politician, Jelko Kacin, was quoted by the Slovene Radio as saying on Thursday. According to Kacin, who is the head of the Slovene parliamentary foreign affairs committee, the parliament remains to be authorised to ratify documents which entered the parliamentary procedure prior to the adoption of the new foreign affairs law, and such is the case with both agreements with Zagreb.(hina) ms
