ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - The Alliance of Anti-Fascist Fighters of Croatia (SABH) on Wednesday presented a book entitled "Destruction of Monuments to Anti-Fascism in Croatia 1990-2000" by Juraj Hrzenjak, a constitutional court judge in
the former Yugoslavia and participant in the National Liberation Struggle. SABH president Ivan Fumic said the demolition of monuments to anti-fascism in the past decade was carried out systematically "in cooperation with the leadership of the former HDZ-led authorities." The police and the judiciary share the responsibility for the destruction of these monuments because they failed to react, Fumic said, adding not a single perpetrator of these criminal acts has been punished. According to the book, 2,960 monuments to anti-fascism were destroyed in Croatia in the past ten years.(hina) sb rml
