WASHINGTON, July (Hina) - The United States handed a significant amount of documents to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia which can be used in the case against ex-Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic,
State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said Monday. He did not want to speak of the context of the material in detail. It is up to the ICTY Prosecution to present the documents during the trial, Boucher stressed. He said, however, there were three sorts of documents - the results of FBI forensic who investigated mass graves in Kosovo in late 1999, statements of numerous refugees from Kosovo who sought shelter in the United States and other documents. We are ready to make all other documents available to the court, Boucher said. According to the announcement from The Hague, Milosevic should come before the ICTY judges on Tuesday.(hina) it
