PRISTINA, June 28 (Hina) - International police forces in Kosovo have arrested an official of the Serb People's Council under suspicion of participation in an attack on a police station in the northern Kosovo village of Leposavic last
December. The Kosovo Force (KFOR) arrested Slobodan Simonovic due to illegal possession of automatic weapons. A group of Serbs from Leposavic gathered for a rally today protesting against Simonovic's arrest. During the protest, the international police also arrested Simonovic's father who threatened to kill some of the police officers if his son was not released from prison.(hina) sb rml

The Kosovo Force (KFOR) arrested Slobodan Simonovic due to illegal
