ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - The government debated a revision of this year's state budget at a closed-door session on Thursday. A statement from the government's public relations office said there were two chief reasons for revising the
budget by June 30, namely in order to begin with decentralisation, which comes into force on July 1, and to consolidate the Croatian Pension Insurance Fund. The re-allocation of budgetary funds and additional restrictions are the way to settle all the problems that will arise by the end of the fiscal year as the result of increased earmarking for child's allowances, salaries and pensions.(hina) ha
