MOSTAR, May 24 (Hina) - Shareholders of the Mostar-based Hercegovacka Banka have accepted an offer by the bank's temporary director Toby Robinson to participate in the auditing of the bank's financial transactions once its
documentation and computers are returned. The international community's High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch on April 6 appointed a temporary management board and the Stabilisation Force (SFOR) raided the bank, confiscating documentation and computers. The bank shareholders said in a public statement they would ask the bank's employees to cooperate in the audit, which they said should be carried out by an independent international auditing house for the sake of objectivity. They expressed satisfaction that the temporary director had partially accepted their demands and that the money taken by SFOR troops was kept safe at the central bank's safe deposit box.(hina) sb rml
