MOSTAR, May 22 (Hina) - A local investigating judge is completing investigative proceedings against three former soldiers of the HVO (Bosnian Croat Defence Council) who are under suspicion of having shelled the "Stari Most" (the Old
Bridge), a famous cultural monument and landmark of the southern city of Mostar. Upon the completion of the procedure, the case is to be forwarded to the ICTY (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia), which should decide on further procedure. The Old Bridge, built in the 15th century, was destroyed during the Croat-Moslem armed conflict in 1993.
