ZAGREB, May 10 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Thursday harshly condemned violence and incidents during Wednesday's Croatian Cup final game between Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb, demanding an efficient investigation and bringing
the perpetrators to justice. According to police information, the incidents obviously aimed at rising the level of discontent ahead of the local elections, Interior Minister Sime Lucin said at a government session Thursday. According to him, there were many political banners at the stadium during the game. Luc said 28 police officers and several hundred fans were injured in yesterday's riot. The police arrested 92 persons and pressed charges against about 50 persons. All arrested had police records, Lucin said.(hina) it
