ZAGREB, May 9 (Hina) - Croatia is advocating for Bosnia-Herzegovina to become a member of the Council of Europe and hopes that Yugoslavia will fulfil its obligations, which will enable it to join the oldest European political
organisation, Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec told Hina today. She will participate at a session of the Council of Europe Ministerial committee on Thursday and Friday. "Yugoslavia is also a candidate for Council of Europe membership, to which Croatia's foreign policy pays great attention, and because of our historical experience and the serious consequences of aggression (on Croatia), Croatia's insisting on a strict fulfilment of all commitments and standards which should open the gates to the Council of Europe," she stressed.(hina) lml sb
