ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - Commenting on the recent arrest of a group of eastern Croatian Serbs for war crimes, the president of the Serb People's Council (SNS) said on Friday the ruling coalition's six parties "are continuing with the
(past) policy of political ghettoisation of and imposition of collective guilt to Serbs in Croatia." The Croatian judiciary continues to be in the function of ethnic cleansing of the Serb community in Croatia, said SNS' Milorad Pupovac. He wondered why indictments against Croatian Serbs from 1992-4 had been activated only now, on the eve of local elections. He views it as a form of intimidation. The president of the Independent Democratic Serb Party, Vojislav Stanimirovic, said the recent arrests were unnecessary to both the ruling coalition and Croatia.(hina) ha
