PULA, May 2 (Hina) - Seven Kurds who illegally entered Croatia were arrested in the western village of Tar on Tuesday by police during a regular inspection of a vehicle with Zagreb licence plates. An Istria County police spokeswoman
told reporters on Wednesday the Turkish citizens illegally entered Croatia on April 27 near the Maljevac border crossing. They stayed in the Zagreb area until the 29th, when a resident of the capital drove them to Istria County with the intention to take them cross the border into Slovenia. The Turks were charged, fined and banished from Croatia for a two-year period. The Zagreb driver was charged for smuggling people across the state border.(hina) ha
