ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Stipe Mesic and his Polish counterpart Aleksandar Kwasniewski on Friday visited the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and spoke with about 60 business people about the development of economic
relations. "NATO is our goal. Poland's experiences can teach us how to reach European associations as fast as possible ... and a united Europe is out mutual goal and our destiny," Mesic said. Addressing the Croatian business people, Kwasniewski stressed the future of relations between the two countries was mostly up to them, since politics without economic ties "is ineffectual and futile". There have been announcements a free trade agreement would be initialled between Poland and Croatia during the polish President's visit.
