ZAGREB, April 20 (Hina) - Fourteen victims exhumed from the Ovcara mass grave, killed by members of the former Yugoslav Army and Serb rebels after the occupation of the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar in 1991, were identified at the
Zagreb Forensic Institute on Friday. The identification was conducted by the most up-to-date DNA analysis, said Ivan Grujic, head of the government's commission for missing and detained persons. According to him, another 1,506 persons are registered as missing. Data on the identification will be sent to Croatian investigators and judicial bodies, as well as the government's office for cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). So far, over 3,200 persons killed during the Serb aggression have been exhumed in Croatia, of whom 80 percent had been identified.(hina) it
