BELGRADE TV STATION BROADCASTS DOCUMENTARY ON SREBRENICA BELGRADE, April 10 (Hina) - The Belgrade television station B-92 on Monday evening broadcast a two-hour documentary, entitled "Srebrenica - A Cry of Despair", on horrendous crimes committed by Bosnian Serbs, under the command of General Ratko Mladic, against Muslims in the former U.N. protected zone of Srebrenica in eastern Bosnia. The documentary offers authentic video recordings revealing the role of Mladic and his soldiers, with details unknown to the Yugoslav audience until now - the mass murders of Muslims, crimes against men, children and women, tricks used by Bosnian Serbs, the helplessness of the Dutch battalion and the former commander of the zone, French General Francois Morillon. The documentary provides information saying Bosnian Serbs killed 7,414 Muslims in the period between 12 and 16 July, 1995, with mass and individual executions continuing to take place for weeks after that period. The TV station said that it would continue showing similar documentaries and other films every Monday. For some time now, this TV station and the TV station Studio B have been frequently showing similar documentaries as part of obvious media preparation of the public for the hand-over of former Serb leaders to the Hague war crimes tribunal.
