BELGRADE, April 5 (Hina) - Yugoslav government officials said on Thursday Yugoslavia expected a final agreement on the division of the former Yugoslav state property at the Bank for International Settlements and was willing to start
talks on the division of diplomatic and consular offices abroad. A Yugoslav government commission in charge of relations with the Council for Implementation has decided that the Yugoslav delegation at the succession talks, to be held in Brussels on April 9-11, should be headed by Dobroslav Mitrovic. "The Yugoslav government believes the issue of succession, i.e. 'state property', has practically been solved following the latest proposal by international mediator Arthur Watts," the government said in a statement. National Bank of Yugoslavia Governor Mladjan Dinkic today
expressed hope the talks would be successful, in which case
Yugoslavia would take over gold from Basel worth USD 150 million.
