ZAGREB/DUBLIN, March 27 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Tuesday arrived in a two-day official visit to the Republic of Ireland to hold talks with his Irish counterpart Brian Cowen and other senior officials,
Croatian Foreign Ministry spokesman Goran Rotim said. Picula's visit to Ireland aims at the development of the two countries' economic cooperation. So far, Croatia and Ireland have not signed any bilateral economic agreements, while an agreement on air traffic, agreement on encouragement and protection of investments and agreement on avoiding double taxation on income and property are being prepared. Croatia is interested in cooperation in power supply and industry and Ireland is interested in cooperation in tourism and the establishment of direct flights to Croatia.(hina) it
