BELGRADE, April 5 (Hina) - Serbian Justice Minister Vladan Batic held talks with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Secretary, Hans Holthuis, in Belgrade on Thursday. After the talks, Batic said they
did not discuss Milosevic's extradition, adding that Holthuis did not insist on Milosevic's transfer to The Hague. Despite the official ICTY standpoint, we were told that there will be no insisting on Milosevic's extradition, Batic told reporters. He said that a group of financial experts from Serbia will go to The Hague in order to thoroughly exam the ICTY documentation regarding bank accounts of former Yugoslav officials. "Should new evidence appear, Milosevic's indictment can be expanded", Batic added.
