ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - A new testimony by General Petar Stipetic

Asked when a new hearing of General Stipetic could be expected,
Prodanovic said, "in my opinion, it cannot happen in the next two

Namely, this is how long it would take ICTY investigators to obtain
documents "Stipetic referred to during his testimony," which
primarily prove that "he did not directly carry out any duties in
relation to specific operations," from the Croatian Government's
Office for Cooperation with the ICTY.
The Croatian Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff, General Stipetic
testified before ICTY investigators in Zagreb last Tuesday and
Wednesday as a suspect in an ICTY probe into crimes committed during
the 1995 military-police operations 'Flash' and 'Storm' and in the
Medak Pocket.
Speaking about his impression of the Hague investigators,
Prodanovic said they were "still sounding out the ground and have no
knowledge at all of the general's relation to specific
operations."
"They were somewhat surprised that he was not involved at all as
commander in two out of three operations," he said.
