After the meeting, Gareljic told reporters that this year Croatia was going to enter Membership Action Plan (MAP), thus adopt guidelines for the accession into NATO, and submit a request for its full membership in the Alliance. Donnely said Croatia had become a serious candidate for participation in the MAP process as well as for the full membership in NATO.
