ROME, March 26 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Jozo Rados said in Rome on Monday that Croatia wishes to get more actively involved in the work of the quadrilateral, (also includes Italy, Slovenia and Hungary) and have its officers
participate in a joint command in international peace operations in which all countries of Central Europe will be involved. "Croatia's participation in the work of the quadrilateral and its missions is a logical follow-up to our orientation as a Central European and Mediterranean country," Rados told reporters after talks with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarell. This is the third meeting between the two defence ministers in the past year. Rados took part in a conference in Rome, organised by NATO in cooperation with the Italian Defence Ministry, focusing on new challenges for the security of the South East of Europe: perception of a region.(hina) lml
