ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - MPs at the Croatian Parliament's House of Counties suggested to the House of Representatives to carry out a referendum to see whether citizens supported the recent draft Constitutional amendments which, among
else, stipulates the annulment of the Parliament's upper house. The decision, forwarded by the House of Counties to the lower house on Tuesday, suggests that citizens should also voice their opinion about whether the Constitutional provision of all Croatian citizens over the age of 18 having general and equal voting rights should be kept. According to the Constitution, the lower house may carry out a referendum on motions to change the Constitution, the House of Counties said in the decision, and recalled that the referendum decides with the votes of most of the people who voted, with the condition that most of the total electorate in Croatia votes in the referen

The decision, forwarded by the House of Counties to the lower house

According to the Constitution, the lower house may carry out a
