ZAGREB, March 22 (Hina) - Positive results have been made by sixteen (16) Croatian companies from different economic branches, which have taken part in a restructuring project launched by the German organisation "Carl Duisberg
Gesellschaft" (CDG) and the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP). At a news conference on Thursday the Fund's head, Hrvoje Vojkovic, said the Inhouse Training programme, developed by the Fund and CDG, helped train managers for running firms in conditions of market economy. For the two years during which the project entitled "Restructuring and Rehabilitation of Croatian Companies" has been implemented, a great step forward has been made on the path towards the companies' market orientation. (16) Croatian companies from different economic branches, which
have taken part in a restructuring project launched by the German
organisation "Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft" (CDG) and the Croatian
Privatisation Fund (HFP).
At a news conference on Thursday the Fund's head, Hrvoje Vojkovic,
said the Inhouse Training programme, developed by the Fund and CDG,
helped train managers for running firms in conditions of market
economy. For the two years during which the project entitled
"Restructuring and Rehabilitation of Croatian Companies" has been
implemented, a great step forward has been made on the path towards
the companies' market orientation.
Vojkovic said the project also opened up a possibility for creating
stability in the entire economy.
Croatian managers, in cooperation with German experts, have
analysed problems in relation to the restructuring of their
companies, elaborated strategies for solutions and prepared
business plans in accordance with their future policy.
To achieve as great efficiency as possible, the sixteen companies
have been selected from the following branches: textile industry,
agriculture, metal-working industry and tourism.
The appointed German experts and trained Croatian advisors cared
for them in the last two years.
CDG is non-profit-making organisation for the international expert
training and development of human resources.
Since 1993 it has been active in projects in Croatia.
