Chamber of Commerce (HGK) president Nadan Vidosevic said opening talks between Croatian business people and business people from Belgium's Walloon Region in Zagreb on Wednesday. The time has come for Croatia and Belgium to raise their good trade to a higher, investment level, Vidosevic said calling on Walloon business people to join in the privatisation process in Croatia more actively. The Belgian delegation includes representatives from 11 companies, led by Walloon's Economy Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serge Kubla. enter the European Union as soon as possible but also to strengthen
its position in the region not only in the political sense but in the
sense of economy, too, Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) president
Nadan Vidosevic said opening talks between Croatian business
people and business people from Belgium's Walloon Region in Zagreb
on Wednesday.
The time has come for Croatia and Belgium to raise their good trade

The Belgian delegation includes representatives from 11 companies,
led by Walloon's Economy Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Serge
Kubla.
Kubla stressed Croatia's important role in the region and supported
its efforts to join the EU. The basis of stabilisation in the region
will be economic progress and that is the main purpose of the
Belgian business people's three-day visit to Croatia, he added.
Most numerous in the Belgian delegation are representatives from
construction, machine-building, metallurgy and telecommunication
equipment industries. The delegation also includes
representatives from Walloon's professional associations from the
metal industry, construction and chemical industries, as well as
exporters and representatives of a mixed Belgian-Luxembourg
chamber of commerce.
The Croatian side consists of representatives from 21 companies,
including Croatian Telekom, Sisak Ironworks, VIPnet, Zagreb
Gasworks, Ingra, Zagreb Road Management, Croatian Power Industry
etc.
