ZAGREB, March 20 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan said on Tuesday the new stand-by arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) provided Croatia with a much better monetary and economic rating world-wide and in
international trade. The agreement "at the same time also acknowledges the economic and financial policy we are leading in Croatia and the stability and promise of this policy," he told Croatian Television's evening news commenting on yesterday's decision by the IMF Executive Board to approve a new stand-by arrangement for Croatia.
