LISBON LISBON, March 11 (Hina) - A play entitled "Lisboa-Zagreb", written by a young Portuguese writer Jose Luis Peixoto and a Croatian post-graduate student of physics in Portugal's capital, Vanja Ratkovic, had its first run in the
'Tabord' theatre in Lisbon on Thursday evening. The 20-minute-long "Lisboa-Zagreb" was shown together with another two short plays within an experimental project about theatre functions, sponsored by Lisbon's cultural programmes council, Croatia's embassy in Portugal reported last Friday. The Croatian-Portuguese play is about the personal stories of two characters, their fears and choices and about the links between the two cities. Jose Luis Peixoto is one of the most popular young Portuguese writers. Vanja Ratkovic, born in Zagreb, has been at the post-graduate study in sciences in Lisbon since June 2000.
