SLOVENE NEGOTIATOR SPEAKS ABOUT SUCCESSION

LJUBLJANA, March 8 (Hina) - The next meeting on the succession of the former Yugoslavia could end the first phase of division, including 13 out of 100 embassies abroad, Slovene's negotiator Miran Mejak said Thursday. Mejak recalled results of succession talks in Ljubljana last month to be continued in Brussels on April 9. Out of the 13 embassies, four would be left to Yugoslavia, three to Croatia, and two each to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia, while artefacts in the embassies would belong to countries from where the authors originate. Mejak stressed Slovenia was not giving up from the IMF key by which debts were divided as a way to divide property, and expressed expectation an agreement on archives, foreign exchange reserves, entitlement rights and the division of gold and share in Basel's bank for international settlements, could be reached in Brussels.(hina) lml sb
