LJUBLJANA LJUBLJANA, Feb 23 (Hina) - Three-day long talks among members of the countries successors to the former Yugoslavia ended on Friday without the passing of a concrete agreement, international mediator for the succession issue
Arthur Watts told a press conference. He added, however, the talks focused on numerous topics and a progress which should lead to the signing of first succession agreements has been achieved. According to Watts, the signing of the agreements could take place at a meeting in Brussels to be held between April 9 and 11. Watts also said that the signing of an agreement on the division of archive and agreement on the division of gold and stocks saved in the Basel's Bank for the International Settlements was to take place in the near future. He did not want to comment on disagreements, which still existed among the successors, in detail. Watts also said the talks focused on private property.

international mediator expressed optimism about a possibility of
finding a solution by the next meeting after all participants ask
for additional instructions of their governments.
Answering to a reporter's question, head of the Croatian delegation
Bozo Marendic said that the issue of Ljubljanska Bank Zagreb's debt
to Croatian clients was not discussed.
