ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday left for a two-day official visit to the Czech Republic at the invitation of President Vaclav Havel. "I expect the cooperation between Croatia and the Czech Republic
to improve and our economic relations to be raised to the level which would be appropriate for our political relations," Mesic told reporters at Zagreb airport before leaving for Prague. According to Mesic, the Croatian delegation will also discuss concrete deals with their Czech counterparts. He announced that Transport Minister Alojz Tusek and his Czech counterpart Jaromir Schling would sign an agreement on road traffic. The Croatian president will meet his counterpart Vaclav Havel, the presidents of the parliament's Senate and House of Representatives, Petr Pithart and Vaclav Klaus respectively, and Prague Mayor Jan Kasala.
