ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - A Croatian government delegation, headed by Prime Minister Ivica Racan, and accompanied by representatives of 16 Croatian companies, will on Tuesday and Wednesday pay an official visit to Greece, where it will
discuss the strengthening of economic relations and other issues of common interest with the highest Greek officials and business people. Croatia's Transport Minister Alojz Tusek and his Greek counterpart Christos Verelis will sign an agreement on air traffic and agree on the details of an agreement on maritime traffic, which should be signed during a visit of Greek President Konstantinos Stephanopoulos to Zagreb in May. of economic relations and other issues of common interest with the
highest Greek officials and business people.

Racan will meet his counterpart Kostas Simitis, President
Stephanopoulos, Parliament Speaker Apostolos Kaklamanis, the
leader of the Greek Opposition, Konstantin Karamanlis, and Athens
Mayor Dimitris Avramopulos.
The two sides will also discuss the Adriatic-Ionian Highway
project, cooperation within the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative, and
the stabilisation of the situation in the region.
Racan will attend a trilateral meeting with Prime Minister Simitis
and Swedish Prime Minister Goeran Persson, the EU chairman on a
visit to Greece. The meeting will tackle progress in Croatia-EU
negotiations on a Stabilisation and Association Agreement, which
Croatia expects to be signed by the end of Sweden's presidency of
the EU.
Representatives of the Brodosplit shipbuilding company and the
Greek ELKA company will sign a contract on the construction of four
ships.
The two sides are also expected to discuss possibilities of
increasing tourist turnover and Greek investments in Croatia's
banking system, insurance companies and food industry.
